Terms & Conditions

The terms for using our website and arranging packing, moving, transport and related logistics services.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

01. Scope and booking confirmation

These terms apply to use of the Safemax Express website and services arranged with us. A website enquiry, rate estimate or pickup request is a request for service; it is not a confirmed booking or guarantee of collection. The agreed quotation, booking confirmation, consignment note/LR and any specifically accepted service terms describe the actual scope. Mandatory legal rights prevail over any inconsistent term.

02. Accurate information and authority

You must provide correct contact details, pickup and delivery addresses, PIN codes, contents, package counts, weight, dimensions, value and relevant access conditions. You must own the goods or be authorised to arrange their movement. Declare fragile, high-value, hazardous or regulated contents before booking. Do not misdescribe goods or conceal prohibited items. Read our Restricted Items policy before handing over a shipment.

03. Quotations and final charges

Calculator results are estimates. A moving quotation is based on the information and items declared, agreed services, route and access conditions. Changes in items, verified weight or dimensions, packing requirements, floors, vehicle access, waiting, storage or other requirements may affect charges. Applicable taxes and extras should be disclosed in the quotation or booking terms. Material changes and additional services should be discussed and agreed before proceeding. An invoice records the applicable agreed charges; it does not independently authorise an undisclosed extra.

04. Collection, packing and handover

Provide safe access and any necessary building permissions, lift reservations or loading arrangements. Identify items that need special packing, dismantling or handling. Unless packing is included in the agreed scope, goods should be suitably packed for the proposed movement. Record the packages handed over and retain your pickup reference and booking documents. Acceptance remains subject to inspection, service availability and lawful carriage requirements.

05. Restricted goods and documents

Safemax Express does not accept liquor/alcohol or other goods prohibited under our Restricted Items policy. Other regulated goods require prior written acceptance and all applicable permits or documents. The sender is responsible for accurate declarations and documents such as invoices, e-way bills or permits where required. We may refuse or suspend a consignment that is unsafe, misdeclared, unlawful or inadequately documented. This does not remove any duties or liabilities imposed on a carrier by law.

06. Transit, delivery and tracking

Any proposed collection or delivery schedule is subject to the booking terms and route conditions. If a guaranteed service is offered, its commitment must be expressly confirmed in writing. Tracking provides shipment progress information and is not proof of delivery by itself. The recipient or authorised representative should be available to accept delivery and record any visible shortage or damage. Contact us if an address, recipient or delivery instruction changes; feasibility and any agreed additional costs will be reviewed.

07. Value, insurance and personal valuables

Declare the shipment value accurately and discuss cover before dispatch. Insurance is not automatic merely because a booking or LR is issued. Optional cover, if arranged, is governed by the insurer’s issued policy, exclusions, valuation and claims process. Keep cash, jewellery, essential documents, medicines needed during the move and other personal valuables with you; they are not ordinary household shipment contents.

08. Payments, cancellations and refunds

Payment amount, due dates and any agreed advance should appear in the quotation, invoice or booking confirmation. Use only payment instructions confirmed through official Safemax Express contact channels. Cancellation, rescheduling and refund requests are handled under our Cancellation & Refund Policy, the agreed service terms and applicable law.

09. Loss, damage and complaints

Report a shortage, damage or service concern as soon as practicable, quoting the LR or pickup reference. Preserve packaging, photographs, item/value documents, invoices and delivery records so the matter can be investigated. Claim rights, notice requirements, compensation and carrier liability are governed by applicable law and valid booking terms. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricts your statutory consumer remedies. Optional insurance claims are assessed under the relevant policy.

10. Disruption, lawful action and website use

Weather, road restrictions, strikes, authority action and other events outside reasonable control may affect arrangements. We will review the effect on the service and communicate available options; this is not a blanket waiver of legal obligations or customer rights. Do not interfere with the website, misuse forms, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate others or submit false requests. Website content and branding must not be used in a misleading or unauthorised manner.

11. Applicable law and contact

These terms are subject to applicable Indian law. Courts, consumer commissions and other authorities with lawful jurisdiction remain available; nothing in these terms restricts statutory consumer remedies or access to a forum with lawful jurisdiction. For booking support or complaints, email info@safemaxexpress.com or call +91 63750 43378. Changes to website terms will not retrospectively remove rights under an existing booking.
